Colleen Werschke

It is with great sadness that the Raiders announce the sudden passing of Colleen Werschke on August 18th, 2012. Colleen was the glue in the Raiders organization and she worked tirelessly for the team in many different capacities. Colleen rarely missed a game (or practice) and she was affectionately known as our "team mom". Many organizations have team moms but not many had the privilege of working with someone like Colleen. She brought class and caring to the organization and every team member was considered a part of her family. Colleen's two sons, Jason and Garrett, both play for the Raiders. Colleen's husband, Grant, functioned as the official photographer for both teams. Colleen's future daughter-in-laws, Leah and Lindsay, looked after admission for the Raiders and Colleen's 5 year old grandson, Aiden, was in charge of intermission goalie warm-ups. For Colleen, lacrosse was truly a family endeavour and she will be incredibly missed.

Thank you Colleen and we will never forget you.

Sincerely, Angus and Tara Jenkins and the entire Sr Raiders Organization
